The Main Dining Room

Our main dining room offers a warm and sophisticated atmosphere, with rich wood accents, soft lighting, and a layout that balances intimacy with energy. Whether you are joining us for a business lunch, a pre-theater dinner, or a leisurely evening with friends, the space adapts to the occasion. Tables are generously spaced to allow for comfortable conversation, and the open kitchen provides a glimpse of the culinary team at work.

Guests can choose from a variety of seating options, including plush banquettes along the walls, freestanding tables for larger parties, and a few coveted seats at the chef's counter. The main room seats up to 80 guests, and reservations are recommended, especially during peak dining hours and major conventions at the Moscone Center.

Seasonal Menus & Tasting Experiences

Our kitchen changes its menu four times a year to reflect the finest produce available from Northern California farms and coastal waters. Each season brings a new lineup of dishes that highlight peak ingredients, from spring peas and morels to late-summer heirloom tomatoes and winter citrus. Signature preparations are often reimagined with the seasons, ensuring that regular guests always have something new to discover.

For those who wish to experience the full range of the chef's creativity, we offer a five-course tasting menu with optional wine pairings. The tasting menu is available Tuesday through Saturday evenings and is designed to be enjoyed over two to two and a half hours. Vegetarian and pescatarian versions are available with 48 hours' notice, and the entire table must participate in the tasting experience.

The Bar & Cocktail Program

The bar at our restaurant is a destination in its own right, with a carefully curated list of classic and contemporary cocktails. Our bartenders use house-made syrups, fresh citrus, and premium spirits to craft drinks that complement the food menu. The wine list features over 200 labels, with a strong emphasis on small-production California wineries as well as notable Old World selections.

Happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring discounted cocktails, wines by the glass, and a selection of bar bites such as crispy calamari, truffle fries, and oysters on the half shell. The full dinner menu is also available at the bar, and walk-in guests are always welcome, though seating on busy evenings may be limited.

Location, Parking & Nearby Attractions

We are located at the corner of Fourth and Mission Streets, directly across from the Metreon and just one block from the Moscone Center's main entrance. The Powell Street MUNI and BART stations are a three-minute walk, providing easy access from anywhere in the Bay Area. For those driving, several parking garages are within two blocks, including the Fifth and Mission Garage and the Hearst Parking Center.

The restaurant is also within walking distance of Union Square, the Yerba Buena Gardens, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Orpheum and Curran theaters. We are happy to recommend nearby hotels for out-of-town guests, and our team can advise on the best walking routes or rideshare pickup points to make your visit as smooth as possible.
